Service: Diakonia Community service takes many forms--preaching, presiding, proclaiming, assisting with hospitality and singing in the choir are only a few of the possibilities. Attending and participating in Emmaus Team meeting is encouraged for everyone. Additional information on how to become a Journey-Koinonia preacher and/or presider is here. Letter-writing campaigns are offered frequently. The current campaign concerns prisoners of conscience in Ethiopia. A letter for you to print and mail is here and more information is here. One Saturday a month, Journey-Koinonia prepares breakfast at St. Stephens for those in the community who are less fortunate. Journey members plan the meal, shop, prepare, serve and clean up.
